Veteran Actor Sanjay Mishra who will be seen in his next sensational film P se Pyaar, F se Farraar says, "The main thing which intrigued me was the subject of the film. There have been many films made on this subject but after reading the script I got to know it's very different than others and definitely could prove a medicine for our society."
"In our society, the caste is perhaps the world's longest dominance hierarchy. Even today, people give priority to the caste more than humanity and wealth. Also, I believe Casteism is the major issue of our society which is the mother bed of all the evils that leads to Honour Killing, violence, inequality in gender, wealth, education, opportunities, etc. The specialty of the film is, it's not just focusing on the honour killing but also covering all these evil aspects," he further adds
Expressing his working experience with Bhavesh Kumar he says, "It was a nice experience working with Bhavesh. Seeing an eighteen-year-old boy's dedication and confidence really amazed me. He has done a tremendous job in the film as a debutant. I believe Bhavesh's innocence, exceptional height of 6'6" and the energetic spirit of the budding athlete makes him an ideal choice for the role of a National level Javelin thrower. And no one can do better justice than him for this role."
The objective of the film is to draw the attention of the people against Casteism that it's not prestige but it's major issue, everyone is facing these days. By this film, the makers are trying to spread the message of this evil subject so that it can be eradicated from society.
In a previous interview with a daily, director of the film Manoj Tiwari revealed that he was shocked to see a newspaper report a few months back which said that the percentage of honour killing in the country was rising by a shocking 796% every year in clear defiance of Article 19 which gives the right to freedom, where everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression. But India is in a grip of caste fever and no place for love and lovers.
"The idea of shooting the film in Mathura was quite obvious! There is a lot of hate growing among people nowadays, and Mathura which is a land of deity Lord Krishna who is known for love and today if this is what Mathura looks like as we have shown, one can imagine the condition in the other parts of our country," Tiwari adds.
Talking about the casting of the film he said "The role played by everyone is very much different than what they have played in the past. We will see Sanjay Mishra in the role which only he could play, Jimmy Shergill in a completely new role which was very challenging for him to play, his character is very sensitive and sensible, Kumud Mishra has played the role out of his comfort zone. Girish Kulkarni will be playing a north Indian guy for the first time, Zakhir Hussain will be seen in an extremely new role."
"P ye Pyaar F se Farraar" is one of the most sensational romantic drama films focusing on the subject of honour killing in the society and the dirty politics around it. It is not just a film but the voice of the revolution. The story of the film is based on true incident in Mathura, where a national level sportsman had to face the repercussion of intercaste marriage, the film is about a young boy falling in love with a girl and the kind of turbulent and violent reactions that follow between their communities. These make the revered city of love turn into a city of extreme hate.
Infact, an inspector from Mathura Subodh Kumar Singh, who had volunteered himself for the role of a police officer in the film also became a victim of casteism. He got killed in mob violence just 2 months of film completion. He is part of a scene where he arrests Bhavesh Kumar because he fought with some college boys. According to director manic war, "It's really difficult to find out if he was acting as he was a real police officer, not an actor."
On Workfront Sanjay Mishra will be seen in Waah Zindagi starring Naveen Kasturia and Plabita Borthakur and Sandeep Aur Pinky Farraar starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
P ye Pyaar F se Farraar also features renowned actors Jimmy Shergill, Kumud Mishra, Girish Kulkarni, and Zakir Hussain. The film helmed by Manoj Tiwari is slated to release on 18th October 2019.
