It's veteran actor Kamal Haasan's 66th birthday today, November 7, and he's been receiving a lot of love from his fans and family. Haasan's actor-singer daughter Shruti, too, has a sweet wish for daddy dearest. Shruti Haasan took to Instagram to share a throwback photo with her father and wrote a lovely note for him.
Sharing the photo, Shruti wrote, "Happy birthday to my Bapuji, Appa, daddy dearest @ikamalhaasan may this year be another memorable one in your library of splendid years. can't wait to see all you have in store for the world."
How adorable is the picture shared by Shruti? The photo features a much younger Kamal Haasan with a little Shruti in his arms. Fans of the actor sent birthday wishes on the post as well. One of them wrote, "Wow lovely picture..Happy birthday to my favourite actor Kamal Hassen..wishing him the very best.. (sic)" while another Instagram user commented, "Happy birthday most romantic hero.. my...appa favourite actor kamal sir.god bless u... (sic)."
Kamal Haasan has won four National Awards, 19 Filmfare Awards, a Padma Shri, a Padma Bhushan, an Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier) and a mention in the Limca Book of Records. He is the only actor in the country with the distinction to have had a 61-year-long career in films.
